How We Collect Consent

Tilavon collects SMS consent from salon owners during account creation:

  • Owner Signup: When salon owners create their Tilavon account, they are presented with a checkbox (unchecked by default) that clearly states messages are limited to account-related notifications only, that Tilavon will never send marketing or promotional messages via text, and includes message frequency, data rate, and opt-out disclosures. This requires active opt-in.

Consent Collection Point

SMS consent is collected via the Tilavon owner signup form during onboarding. You can view the consent collection form at our owner signup page. The signup form includes an unchecked-by-default checkbox that clearly describes the SMS program, message types, frequency, data rates, and opt-out instructions before the owner provides consent.

Types of Messages

Salon owners who opt in may receive the following types of SMS messages:

  • Subscription Renewal Reminders: Notifications before your billing cycle renews.
  • Payment Confirmations: Confirmation when a payment is successfully processed.
  • Account Security Alerts: Login notifications, password reset codes, and other security-related messages.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on account activity such as billing events and security alerts. Tilavon does not send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages via SMS. Your phone number will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for any purpose.

How to Opt-Out

Salon owners can opt out of SMS messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message
  • Updating notification preferences in their Tilavon account settings
  • Contacting support at [email protected]

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS notifications from Tilavon.
