Email Campaigns

Open the Campaign Builder

From your Tilavon dashboard, go to Marketing > Campaigns and click Create Campaign. Choose Email as the campaign type.

Choose a Template

Browse the template library for pre-designed layouts including service promotions, seasonal specials, holiday greetings, and announcements. Each template is mobile-responsive and matches your salon branding.

Customize Your Content

Use the drag-and-drop editor to add your text, images, and call-to-action buttons. Insert dynamic fields like the client's first name, last service, or loyalty points balance to personalize each email.

Select Your Audience

Choose from your saved audience segments or create a new one. You can target clients by visit frequency, last visit date, services used, spending level, or custom tags you've applied.

Preview and Send

Preview your email on desktop and mobile, send a test to yourself, then schedule the campaign for immediate delivery or a future date and time.

For email campaigns, track delivery rate, open rate, click-through rate, unsubscribe rate, and bounce rate. For SMS campaigns, track delivery rate, response rate, and opt-out rate. All campaigns also track redemption rate (how many clients used an offer) and booking rate (how many clients booked an appointment).

Revenue Attribution

Tilavon attributes revenue to campaigns when a client who received the campaign books and completes an appointment within the attribution window (default: 7 days). This shows you exactly how much revenue each campaign generated, helping you calculate ROI.

Comparing Campaigns

Use the Campaign Comparison view to see multiple campaigns side by side. Compare open rates, click rates, and revenue across different campaign types, audiences, or time periods. This helps you identify your most effective marketing strategies.

When creating an email campaign, toggle on A/B Test. Create two versions (Variant A and Variant B) with a single difference between them — for example, different subject lines. Choose what percentage of your audience receives each variant (default: 50/50). Tilavon sends both versions and tracks performance.

What to Test

Start with subject lines, as they have the biggest impact on open rates. Then test different offers (10% off vs. free add-on), different images, different send times, and different call-to-action text. Only test one variable at a time for clear results.

Reading Results

After the test period (minimum 24 hours), Tilavon highlights the winning variant based on your chosen success metric (open rate, click rate, or booking rate). You can then apply the winning approach to future campaigns. Test results are saved for reference in Marketing > A/B Test History.
